The Children’s Hospital Plans Opening of New Cutting-Edge Facility at Anschutz Medical Center
Denver's Top-Notch Children's Hospital Well-Deserving of National Recognition
According to its website, Denver’s Children’s Hospital hopes to treat over 100,000 patients per year in the future. These patients are very fortunate since The Children’s Hospital is a top-notch facility that was recently ranked fourth by U.S. News & World Report among “America’s Best Children’s Hospitals” More exciting things are in store for Children’s as it looks toward the opening of its new cutting edge facility on September 29, 2007. The new facility, which reportedly boasts 1.45 million square feet with nine floors, 270 beds and 14 operating beds, is located at the Anschutz Medical Center. It seems that 1.45 million sq. feet still isn’t enough for all of the good work that Children’s does for the Denver metro area. There are branches all across the Denver area including the following locations.
Saint Joseph Hospital – Denver (Pediatric Care and Emergency Services) Parker Adventist Hospital – Parker (Emergency Care, Pediatric Specialist Care, Sports Medicine) Lutheran Medical Center – Wheat Ridge (Urgent Care) Littleton Adventist Hospital - Littleton (Urgent Care) Broomfield - Pediatric Specialist Care Centennial - Pediatric Specialist Care The new facility will likely propel Children’s Hospital into a league of its own. It is hard to imagine an organization that is more deserving of praise and recognition than Children’s Hospital.
