Denver, Colorado, is the Perfect Place for Sports Enthusiasts

Denver Fans Out in Full Force to Support the Colorado Rockies!

The fall season is typically an exciting time for Colorado sports fans since football season is in full swing. Dating back to the glory days of Mile High Stadium and John Elway, Denver has always been a great football town. Denver sports enthusiasts typically spend the fall season cheering on their local football teams including the Denver Broncos, University of Colorado Buffaloes, Colorado State Rams, or the Air Force Falcons.

But, it isn’t football that has Denver sports fans in frenzy this year – it’s baseball! There were plenty of tears and hugs at Coors Field on Sunday. Who would have ever thought that the Colorado Rockies, typically one of the more mediocre teams in Major League Baseball, would be one win away from the playoffs! The team, which has been victorious in 13 of the last 14 games, is truly an inspiration and local baseball fans are going crazy over it.  Tonight’s game against the San Diego Padres will determine if the Colorado Rockies’ miraculous streak will continue. The Rockies have plenty of support in their quest for a playoff berth since tickets to the game sold out in only a few hours and a rally at Coors Field just concluded.

It is this kind of spirit and unity that makes Denver, Colorado, a wonderful place to live. Whether it’s football, baseball, hockey or baseball, our great city is home to some of the most loyal and dedicated sports fans in the entire country. Win or lose, the committed fans support their team to the bitter or glorious end. They will sit through blistering heat and raging snowstorms just to show their support.
