It is hard to imagine a better way to celebrate summer in Colorado than a trip to a local farmer’s market. The smell of fresh fruit and vegetables combined with other goodies makes farmer’s markets one of the best treats of summer. SOUTHLAND’S FARMER’S MARKET For Arapahoe County residents, this market has everything from baked goods to homemade tortillas to handmade goods. Location: Southlands’ Town Square in Aurora. Saturdays (May-October) from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm Thursdays (June-October) from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm STAPLETON FARMER’S MARKET Location: 29th & Quebec in the parking lot just north of the E. 29th Ave. at Stapleton in Denver. CHERRY CREEK FRESH MARKET We saved the best for last! This is the largest Farmer’s Market in Denver and a true delight to visit and sample its goods.
