Don’t Miss the 8th Annual Piney Creek 4th of July Celebration!

It is almost time for the 8^th Annual Piney Creek Women’s League 4^th of July Parade and Picnic! Please join the Piney Creek Women’s League to kick off the three-day holiday weekend to celebrate our country’s freedom. If you attended last year’s event, you likely have warmhearted memories of excited children playing in the dunk tank while you visited with neighbors and friends. This year’s event will kick off with marchers congregating at Indian Ridge Elementary School at 9:45am, prior to proceeding to the Piney Creek Clubhouse. Once again, the Cunningham Fire Rescue will lead the lead the procession, with our friends from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department bringing up the rear. As always, it will be a good time for everyone, and gives us a chance to recognize our heroes in uniform – our servicemen and women, the police and fire departments, the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies and Girl Scouts. The Buckley Air National Guard is also scheduled to present its traditional fly-over wing tip to the residents of Piney Creek.
